After catching my daughter chatting with strangers in a game, my stomach dropped. We talked it through, but I need tools that help me set boundaries without killing trust. Can anyone recommend parental control programs that worked for your family, especially for gaming and messaging? It is our first phone and I am learning as I go.

I felt that same pit in my stomach when I saw my kid chatting with people I didn’t know inside a game — we had a calm talk, but I knew I needed something practical, not just rules. I didn’t want to kill trust, just set clear boundaries on gaming and messaging. After trying a couple of options, I found tools that show patterns and help guide conversations rather than just block everything. One I’ve checked out is uMobix , and it’s been useful for us to stay aware without constant policing.
