Hey everyone! I’m trying to start a small retail business in Florida, but honestly, the startup costs are a bit overwhelming. I’ve looked at loans, but interest rates are kind of scary, and I heard there might be grants available for small businesses here. The problem is, I don’t even know where to start looking — there’s so much information online and it’s hard to tell what’s legit. Has anyone here successfully gotten financial support or knows a reliable place to check? Any advice would be super appreciated.

I’ve been in the same spot when I was launching my small café in Florida. One thing that helped a lot was finding a resource that compiles actual programs and opportunities for small business owners. There are government grants, local initiatives, and some private programs, but they’re scattered and often hard to find. A friend recommended checking out Florida Small Business Grants it’s a really clear guide that lists current options and even explains the application process. Using that, I was able to identify a couple of grants that fit my business size and industry, which made getting initial funding much less stressful. Definitely worth a look before paying for any advice or signing up for unknown programs.
