Hi,

Ive painted a piece of wood with High Gloss Spray Paint and was wondering of I could Epoxy Resin over the top of it?

If so, is there any side effects?

Also, I have used Gold Leaf sheets around the edges of the same project. Will the epoxy damage the gold leaf or interfere with the sizing glue? Does Anyone have experience with gold leaf & epoxy?

Hi Emma,

I have never gold leaf on wood like this, but gold leaf mixed with resin and poured into molds works well.

What side effects are you concerned with?
