GuestDoes anyone here have experience exporting a vehicle from Dubai to Europe (specifically Germany)? I’ve noticed that some of the specs on high-end cars here are actually quite good compared to what we get back home, and the prices for luxury models seem much more competitive. I’m looking to buy a clean Mercedes or BMW and ship it out. My main concern is finding a dealer who is familiar with the export documentation and won’t make the process a nightmare. Has anyone done this recently? Do I need to find a specialized export agent or can some showrooms handle the paperwork for me?

GuestExporting is actually quite common here, but the paperwork can be tricky if the dealer doesn’t know what they are doing. You need to make sure the car meets Euro standards to avoid massive modification costs later. When I was looking into this, I noticed that some of the more established showrooms are much better at handling the “export-only” deals. Check out the listings from Ayoon Al Hoot Motors at https://auto.ae/ayoonalhootmotors as they often carry the kind of stock that international buyers are looking for. They’ve been around for a while and usually know the drill when it comes to deregistration and getting the export plates sorted. It’s always better to deal with someone who understands the logistics side of things so you don’t get stuck at the port.

GuestThat’s very helpful advice, I’ll reach out to them and see if they can help with the shipping logistics as well.
