Hi Courtney,
Since you used polyester resin, you can use a rotary tool and buffing compound to buff out imperfections. I like to use Fabulustre on a cotton buff. (Epoxies don’t do well with this technique. They may melt from the friction.)
Unfortunately, there is no way to repair or change your mold. You will have to expect to buff/polish castings every time you use it.
