Can crayons be immersed in Resin?

      Hi,

      I googled this but can’t seem to find a definitive answer: Can Crayons be immersed in Resin? Wax crayons, not colored pencils.

      I’d like to do a project similar to this http://rethinkcrafts.blogspot.com/2013/10/crayon-mosaic.html – but in the bottom of a wooden serving tray, and cover it with Resin to seal the crayons in. Is this possible? One site hinted that wax resists the Resin so I wasn’t sure what would happen if I attempted it.

      Hi Jan,

      Resin does not stick to wax.
