Every tool I try seems to lock all the valuable data behind a subscription. I understand the need to monetize, but I’m looking for something free (or mostly free) that still helps identify long-tail, low-competition keywords. I’m building a small info site and just can’t justify a $99/month tool right now. Any suggestions for something usable?

Yeah, I totally get it. A lot of tools tease you with three keyword ideas and then ask for your credit card. That’s why I switched to https://keywordindexchecker.com/ai-keyword-long-tail-generator — it’s actually free to use and surprisingly powerful. You enter a seed phrase, and it not only gives you keyword ideas, but it groups them by question format, buyer intent, informational searches, etc. When I entered “eco cleaning products,” it showed keywords like “non-toxic bathroom cleaner DIY,” “refillable green spray bottles,” and “natural vs chemical disinfectants.” These weren’t just useful — they were also low-competition and highly specific. I used them to draft content that now ranks even though my domain is new. You don’t get stuck behind a paywall, and there’s enough data to actually plan content with.
