I’m wanting to cast a bust in resin, paint the bust, then, in another mold, put the bust in, and fill it with resin. Will it work, and will it look like the bust is suspended?

Hi John, I worry that the new coat of resin will dissolve the paint or cause it to flake. Neat idea though!
