Years ago I had someone cast some surgical titanium screws in resin as earrings. It seems like they were not very experienced with resin and there are a number of issues – bubbles (especially around the screw threads), cloudy, shrinkage. I’d love to be able to get them out and try casting them again myself… but how would I go about it? Is it too far gone? Thank you!

Hi Kathy,

If it were me, I would find a way to saw/cut the screws out of the resin. Then, sand and polish off as much resin as you can before recasting them.
