Hi there.

I am in a country where resin art supplies are limited. I am a newbie to resin casting. I want to make a transparent resin pendant but I cannot find transparent pigment available. Although, I can purchase opaque pigment for resin as that is available in the stores.

I was wondering, if i can purchase opaque pigment and use very little of it to turn the colors into transparent. does that work? Can the opaque pigment be used for transparent effect?

Hi Hid, best case scenario, you will get a translucent effect, but it won’t be transparent.
