      Hello,
I am completely new to resin and am considering using it for a low-budget, short timeline project.
basically, what I am wondering is if resin can be drilled? I need to make a quick die for a small stamping machine. Is resin strong enough to be drilled into? Will a 2″x4″ cylinder last up to moderate pressure? Is there an alternate material someone can suggest? Thanks!

      Hi Randy,

Yes, you can drill resin. You can see how I do that here:

Depending on what kind of resin you use, it may withstand the moderate pressure of it being used as a punch depending on what is punching.
