GuestFor those who’ve built their own garages or workshops, what material did you go with—wood, steel, or something else? What would you recommend?

GuestI went with wood for my garage build because it’s what I knew, but looking back, steel might’ve been smarter. Weatherproof, less maintenance, and quicker to set up. My neighbor used a prefab steel kit and was done in a weekend. Anyone else regret going the traditional route?

GuestWhen I started researching materials for my home workshop, I stumbled upon a few SteelMaster Buildings reviews https://steelmaster-buildings.pissedconsumer.com/review.html that got me thinking. A lot of people shared how easy the kits were to assemble and how durable the steel was over the long haul. I was initially set on traditional wood framing, but those reviews shifted my perspective. Ended up going with a steel option and haven’t looked back, minimal maintenance, great for our unpredictable weather, and honestly it just looks cleaner.
