      This question comes from Monique:

I have a question hoping someone can answer, Acetone can be used for effects, and if yes, is nail polish remover okay?
If I want to do the dirty pouring, is it super clear resin the best one to use? Can acetone be mixed with the colored mixture and if yes will this help achieve lacing effect?

I m watching all the video s and before getting supplies I would like to better understand the process.

      Hello Monique,

Yes, you can use nail polish remover acetone to create lacing in resin. I like to add it in once I have the resin and color mixed the way I like.

We do not recommend the super clear resin for painting as it does not have enough surface tension to stay on a painting surface. Instead, we recommend the Resin Obsession artwork resin. You can buy it in several sizes here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-artwork-resin
