Hi – I recently bought Resin Obsession Super Clear Resin to try it out. It cures much faster than the resin I am used to using (which is one reason I bought it), so I need to adjust my production times accordingly. Some of my pieces require multiple layers of resin, with color or embedded objects. What is the cure time for a layer before I can add the next layer of resin to the piece? Thank you.

      Hi Wesla,

I’m guessing you are trying to add the next layer before the first layer cures so you don’t see a line? For that, twenty to thirty minutes (depending on how fast it appears to be curing) works best.

Thank you, Katherine! Yes, that is the type of layering I want to achieve. I will use the timing you suggest and see how it goes.

I would love to hear how that timing works for you. Would you mind letting me know how it goes?

I need to know how long the cure time is for a resin piece….how long do I leave it in the mold and how long before I can start sanding and polishing the piece?
      Thank you!
