Cutting resin w/Dremel?

I save the “drippings” that cure on the table from my resin pour paintings, and I’d like to create mosaics and jewelry from those, so I need to be able to cut them into shapes and such. I have a Dremel – okay, I have the Craftsman knock-off rotary tool – but I’m not sure what attachments I would want to use to cut through resin. They’re not hugely thick pieces, maybe like 1/8″ thick or a little more than that, and flat since they were a puddle that cured where it was left on the tabletop. Any suggestions on what rotary tool attachment I would need for that?

      Hi Jadelyn,

Unfortunately I don’t have a recommendation for a Dremel attachment. Have you considered using a jeweler’s saw?

I need a clear resin that is super hard that will adhere to metal and with stand high pressures.

What are you trying to make? That will best help me with a recommendation.
