I decoupaged wooden trays with a single sheet of paper and then poured resin over top. I had not looked at these projects in a while. After months the resin and paper were lifting from the ends of the trays. Why would it be doing this and any suggestions to fix it?

Hi Mary,

I’m wondering if there was some kind of waxy coating on the tray that the resin didn’t fully stick to.

I would try cleaning under the spots as best as you can, then pressing it down with more mixed resin underneath.

If I paint with kliz primer do you think it would stick better?
