GuestHi guys! I’ve been wanting to figure out for a long time whether it’s worth investing in desks and chairs from ProgressiveDesk. I’ve read reviews and videos where they claim that their furniture improves comfort and helps you work without back pain. But honestly, I’m a little skeptical. My old desk seems fine, and a sedentary lifestyle doesn’t affect your back as much as some people. But I have a question: is this furniture really worth the money? Especially considering that there are other brands with similar offerings, maybe someone has already tried something similar? Do you think comfort and ergonomics really affect productivity and health?

GuestI just recently bought a height-adjustable desk from https://www.progressivedesk.com/ and I can share my experience. At first, I was also skeptical, because I used to sit at a regular home standing desk and did not pay much attention to “ergonomics”. But then, when I started working remotely, I realized that sitting at a computer all day is not just uncomfortable, it is really harmful. My back started to hurt, my shoulders were just a disaster. And so I decided to try a height-adjustable desk. Believe me, this is a completely different matter. The advantage of height-adjustable desks is that you can change your posture: standing or sitting, and this helps to avoid long-term static loads on the body. Now I stand more often than I sit, and my back really began to hurt less. In general, at first I thought that this would not last long – I would get used to it and sit on my old desk again, but no, the habit changes. Even when I was sitting, the desk could be adjusted to a comfortable position so that I didn’t have to bend over or strain my neck or back. It made my work so much more comfortable that I couldn’t imagine working without it. By the way, I bought not only the desk, but also a chair from ProgressiveDesk, and it’s also great. The backrest is adjustable, there’s lumbar support, and it’s much more comfortable to sit in than a regular office chair. Ultimately, after using it for a few months, I realized that it’s not just “furniture,” but an investment in my health and comfort. So if you sit at a desk a lot, I’d recommend considering their products. Especially if you work for hours at a time. For me, it’s become more productive, I’m not distracted by discomfort, and I don’t feel so tired at the end of the day. It’s definitely worth the money.

GuestSounds pretty interesting, actually. I’ve also recently been thinking about buying something ergonomic for my workspace, because neck and back problems have become too common. The only thing that confuses me a little is the price. I understand that good furniture is an investment, but sometimes such brands can greatly inflate the cost, playing on consumer health insurance. Progressive tables and chairs, of course, sound cool, but is it worth overpaying for a brand when you can find something similar to good? Although I understand that it is not only quality that is important, but also the long-term perspective. For example, a desk with adjustable height can not only improve well-being, but also increase productivity, as you say. In general, useful information, thank you!
