I am a beginner with not a clue as to what to do or where to start or what products I really need. Thank you. It is meant to go in molds and cures crystal clear. You can find it in several sizes in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession As for the mold, I think this square plastic mold will work great: https://shop.resinobsession.com/products/square-base-mold-584 . It is 4 inches in diameter which should enclose your butterfly. You will also need mixing cups, stirring utensils, gloves and mold release. You can find them all here: http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/castincraft-mold-release-conditioner http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/large-graduated-10-oz-reusable-mixing-cups-quantity-10 http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/resin-obsession-stir-stix-stirstix http://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/tools-and-supplies/products/nitrile-rubber-non-latex-disposable-gloves-10-pack While not exactly what you are doing, this project is similar: https://resinobsession.com/resin-tutorials/how-to-make-a-bottle-cap-resin-coaster/ Does this help?
