For the first time in a long while my resin remains sticky after 2-1/2 days.Is the best way to quickly resolve this epic fail to re-apply new resin; seal with lacquer, varnish, or maybe polly?

Is it gooey or sticky? Like can you put your finger into the resin and make a dent or is it simply surface sticky like touching tape?
