Hello,

I was wondering if there’s any particular epoxy resin (and coloring) I should use to make “fakelite” pieces, in other words, resembling bakelite. I would start with a plain color but would like to carve on it.

HI Paula,

I don’t know that resin necessarily does well with carving on the surface after casting.

Have you considered carving a model (from wax or something else), then making a mold and casting resin in it?
