GuestHey folks, just wanted to share something that actually helped me organize my life a bit. Nothing fancy or hyped — just a solid little tool I stumbled on that made a real difference.
The problem: total mental clutter
For a while, everything in my life started to blur together. I had uni assignments, part-time work, random freelance tasks, and in between all that I try to squeeze in time for my hobby — making resin crafts and painting miniatures. Fun, yeah, but also overwhelming.
I used to keep to-do lists in a notebook, then moved to Google Keep, then sticky notes… It all became a mess. I’d forget tasks, miss small details, and constantly feel like I was behind on something.
The solution: Checklist Chrome extension
One night while procrastinating (ironic), I searched for something simple and came across the Checklist extension on the Chrome Web Store. Installed it without expecting much.
But honestly? It clicked.
Now every morning I open a new checklist tab and dump everything I need to do for the day — uni stuff, emails to send, projects to move forward, even small reminders like “resin pour – check bubbles after 15 min.”
How I use it daily
I have one main checklist for the day
Separate lists for ongoing projects (like a commission I’m doing for some DnD minis)
I keep a “Weekend ideas” list for resin experiments, just so I don’t forget them mid-week
It’s nothing too complex — and that’s the point. It’s right there in my browser, a click away. No loading, no distractions, just a clean space to track stuff and tick it off.
Final thoughts
It won’t magically make you productive, but it helps you stay productive when you’re already trying. If your brain feels like 100 browser tabs open at once (and one of them is playing music you can’t find), this helps.
Glad I found it. Keeping it in my setup for sure.
