Hi Katherine,

I just finished polishing my paperweight and it is now dull. Could I spray with Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Acrylic Coating? Would this bring back the gloss finish? I tried buffing but it doesn’t work well. I also had problems with the top of the dome remaining sticky so I removed as much as I could and added more resin which worked.

Hi there,

As done in this video by Resin Obsession ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMqpeWFKOt0&t=10s ). I would like to add some denatured alcohol or acetone to my acrylic paint. I would like to know the dangerosity to torch the patinting after those products are on the canvas. Is there special precautions?

I would suggest waiting several minutes to allow the fumes to evaporate before torching.
