I am doing a paperweight and I want to mix in fine glitter inside it. Should I wait till the gel stage to include the glitter? how can i avoid introducing air bubbles if i do it in the gel stage?

Hi Joanne,

You do not want to mix in glitter (or anything else) while the resin is in the gel stage because it will introduce bubbles.

If you are trying to keep the glitter suspended in the resin, then I suggest using the Stampendous micro glitter. It’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t sink. You can buy it in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/colorants/products/stampendous-micro-glitter
