I am adding glass to an indentation on a mirror frame and want to seal it with resin.  Do I put glue down first, add the items and pour the resin or?? what kind of glue should I use?  I need to glue this so the resin does not fall out of the indent. Any videos on this process?

Can I ask why you want to coat the glass piece with resin?  Seems like it might be an unnecessary step.
