I’m pretty new to golf but really hooked after playing a few times with friends. Since I can’t make it to the range often, I thought about getting a simulator for home use. Is it worth starting with one as a beginner or better to wait until I improve a bit?

Honestly, a home simulator can be a game-changer if you’re just starting out. I got mine from this guide, and it’s been amazing for learning. The built-in analytics let you see exactly what’s wrong — launch angle, swing path, spin rate — stuff you wouldn’t notice at a driving range. You can practice with real feedback anytime without feeling rushed or self-conscious. They also sell beginner-friendly kits that don’t require pro-level hardware. I started with a basic SkyTrak package, and it’s super intuitive. Plus, you can play simulated courses for fun, not just drills. It’s basically turned my learning curve into a daily habit. Totally worth it if you’re serious about improving fast.

I wish I had started with a simulator early on. Took me years to realize how much bad muscle memory I’d built up at the range. Having consistent feedback makes a big difference.
