I was using Resin Obsession resin, I measured and mixed meticulously, and got goop. It has been raining nonstop for days now, so I think that may be the biggest culprit.

I was preserving a friend’s deceased baby’s hair. I am a wreck on how to salvage this. Is there a way to clean the hair and try again? I was using a cabochon mold and an open back bezel, so I have two pieces with hair.

Hi Peggy,

I’m sorry to hear things did not cure for you. Unfortunately, there is no way to get the baby hair out of the resin. I would try to cut off as much of the goop as possible and recast what’s left into another mold.
