Could this be because the resin was cold or am I doing something wrong? January 24, 2016 at 12:49 pm #5004 Katherine SwiftKeymaster Hi Liz, the resin is going to pick up the surface of the mold and will impart this onto the surface of the casting. In general, castings from plastic molds may not be as clear and shiny as those made from silicone molds. I talk about it in this blog post: https://resinobsession.com/resin-frequently-asked-questions/plastic-resin-molds-and-silicone-resin-molds-whats-the-difference January 24, 2016 at 5:00 pm #5006 lizGuest Thank you Katherine for the good information.
