Hi all,
I’m new to resin and just picked up a Castin’ Craft opaque pigment and it says to keep away from heat and open flame. Now, I’ve been watching a lot of videos and reading, and they all say to use a heat gun or torch for best results to remove the bubbles from their colored resin projects. What resin pigments are safe to use with torching or heat gun?
Thank you!
Hi, I have not had any problems using a flame or heat gun around these when I have used them to color resin. It’s my understanding they don’t want you to keep the bottles of colorant near a heat source.
