Hi everyone,
I’m working on a few deep pour resin pieces (around 2 inches thick) using clear casting resin, and I keep getting tiny air bubbles throughout the pour — even though I’m mixing slowly and letting it sit a bit before pouring. I’m pouring in a silicone mold and keeping the room at a stable temperature.

I’ve tried using a heat gun right after the pour, but it doesn’t seem to catch all the bubbles deep inside. I don’t have a pressure pot (yet), so I’m wondering:

Is there anything else I can do to minimize or eliminate those microbubbles without a pressure pot?

Would pouring in layers help with clarity, or does that risk visible seams?

Appreciate any advice or tricks you’ve picked up — I’ve seen so many crystal-clear deep pours here and would love to get close to that quality. Thanks in advance!
