What kind of tool can I search for that is like a articulating utility arm with a clamp at the end ? I want to be able to hold light objects in place then pour around them. I’ve tried googling a variety of keywords but can’t find what I want.

      Thank You!

      Hi Stefano,

It sounds like you are wanting to use a ‘third hand’. I use them when metalsmithing. I got them from Rio Grande: https://www.riogrande.com/search?q=third+hand&c=&t=1

That’s exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

In regards to clear resin pouring, are there some resins that do better when it comes to layering than others ? Or is it a matter of timing the gel’d layer and adding the next liquid layer ?

It’s a matter of timing. Each resin has its own pot/gel time, so if you can’t find that information with the resin packaging, ask the manufacturer.
