I have never used resin before. I am wanting to coat the inside of a empty honey bear to use as play food for my kids play market/kitchen. The amber colored resin is the color I’m wanting so it looks like real honey. Is this easy to do? I thought about regular paint but it wouldn’t be the right color or see through. Any thoughts or suggestions? If I buy the amber bottle for $7.99 is that all I need to coat the inside of the honey bear bottle with it? Thanks!

Hi Dawn,

The amber resin color only works if you mix it with resin first.

Since this is only going to be a play toy, I would color water with food coloring, then super glue the honey container lid shut.
