Thanks for the information.  Is there a particular heat gun you would recommend?

I have taken a serving tray and made a "Starry Starry Night" type of picture with beads, glass marbles, and Sculpy clay.  The tray itself is approximately 12" x 17" and the depth to cover the picture is 1/4".

1.Would Envirotex Lite be an appropriate choice for this project?

      2. How do I determine how much resin I will need?
      3. How many layers should I prepare to use for the desired depth of 1/4"?
      4. Will I need a heat gun to remove bubbles?

      Hi Micky,

      1.  The Resin Obsession artwork resin is my choice for this project. https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/resin-obsession-artwork-resin

      2.  We have a resin volume calculator that will tell you how much resin you need for your project here: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-calculator/

      3.  Using the formula in the link above, you will need to create a tape dam around your piece to get the depth you want.

      4.  Yes, I would suggest a heat gun.  We have those in our store here: https://shop.resinobsession.com/products/darice-multipurpose-heat-tool

      Good luck!
