How do I use a 2-part sphere mold without the resin leaking out? I wish to cast a dandelion head, I attached the top of the 2-part mold but when it got to the top the resin was leaking out the join.

Use a rubber band to hold the two parts together.

Hi, as the molds are very flexible, I really don’t see how this can work especially when the resin is in them. As I cam placing an item in the lower part, I need to complete this first before putting the top part of the mold on the bottom part. Do you have any other advice please?

It sounds like you need a new mold made with a ‘lock and key’ type closure.

This is the first time I’m using the mold so wonder if I’m doing something wrong. Do you sell the mold you are referring to?
