GuestOkay, real talk — has anyone actually managed to get a real EssayPay discount as a first-time user? I’ve seen a million “10% OFF for newbies” codes, but none of them work. I tried the ones people share on Reddit, TikTok, even that shady promo site that looks like it hasn’t been updated since 2018. Nothing. I’m starting to think the whole thing’s a trap. But I remember some guy from UCLA saying he got a secret discount just by talking to support. Is that a thing? Or is it just some algorithmic nonsense to make us feel special for overpaying?

GuestYeah, man, I’ve been there. First time I tried EssayPay https://essaypay.com/ I thought the whole “new user discount” was total BS too. What actually happened — and I swear I didn’t plan this — I made an account, filled out the essay details, and just left it. Next morning, I get this random email from them offering me 12% off. It wasn’t one of those fake codes, it was automatically applied when I clicked their link. Later, a friend from Georgetown said he got the same thing after pretending to hesitate during checkout. Guess they’re tracking that kind of behavior.
It’s funny, ‘cause it’s basically the same marketing trick Amazon and Booking.com use — if you pause, they chase you. I even mentioned I was new at Ohio State when I chatted with support, and the rep threw in free formatting “as a welcome.” So yeah, the trick isn’t to find a code — it’s to let EssayPay find you. Weirdly enough, the less desperate you seem, the more they want you.
