This question comes from Carolyn:
One of my friends tried to convince me that there was something special about ICE resin but I don’t think there is. She thought it was always transparent regardless of the coloring agent – so in a painting, I might use one resin for opaque areas and ICE for clear areas. I was concerned that two different resins might not mix well as they spread into each other.. now I don’t think I need the ICE at all, BUT, what IS the best way to color resin so that it is still almost transparent? Oil Paint? ink? Stain?
