Hello everyone

I’m new to the forum and also new to work with epoxy resin and trying to build my first coffee table.

In the videos i see the colorpigments are added to the resin, mixed and when the resin is poured it gets this like even marble like structures, it’s never just one solid color.

But when I mix with my liquid pigments it always gets just one solid color, no structures, nothing.

Do is use too much liquid pigments or is this only happening with powder pigments or only special pigments ?
In the videos it always seemed like this is the standard thing to happen.

Hi Falko,

I’m not clear on what’s happening. Are you pouring multiple colors onto your table and they’re blending into one color?

Or is something else going on?

Sorry, just saw your reply now.

I think the solution is that the optic i need is only achievable with these metallic pigments, like here:

I thought that any color will have this effect, but with my liquid pigments it always gets a solid color.
