So I’ve been running this Instagram account for about a year now, mostly posting makeup tutorials and some behind-the-scenes from photoshoots. The content gets decent likes, and I’ve built a small community around it, but when I reached out to a couple of skincare brands for potential collabs, none of them even responded. One PR rep actually told me that they usually prioritize influencers who “look active and established,” which hit kinda hard. I mean, I get it — my account only has 700 followers, and that probably doesn’t scream “collaboration material.” Has anyone else dealt with this? What are you guys doing to make your profiles more appealing to brands?
