I’m thinking about renting a yacht through GetBoat.com, but I don’t know where to start. How do I properly make a booking, and what should I keep in mind when choosing a boat? This will be my first time, so I don’t want to mess it up.

Have you already decided where you want to rent the yacht? I can give you a couple of tips. First, I just registered on the site, picked the region I wanted, and set filters for the yacht size and dates. It’s convenient because under each yacht, there’s a detailed description, photos, and reviews from previous renters. You start by sending a request to the owner, then you confirm the details and pay either the full amount right away or a deposit. We rented a SeaRay 41 with a flybridge here on https://getboat.com/ during our trip to Mexico, near Cancun. The rental cost was almost $600 a day.
