GuestHi, does anybody know why Îm getting these little white dots in my opoxy resin work? Îm using pebeo vitrail colors. I’m getting close to what I want to acheive but these dits are ruining the whole thing. I’d be very grateful if someonf could tell me how to get rid of them. Thank you!

GuestOk from what I found somewhere else they might be tiny bubbles that appeared while sanding and get filled with sanding dust…

KeymasterYes, that could be it. You are sanding your pieces after pouring? I like to wet sand them to avoid the white dots.
Here’s a similar discussion in our forum where I link to a video showing my sanding techniques: https://resinobsession.com/forums/topic/resin-charms-getting-white-dots-after-sanding

GuestYes I sanded it to try getting a nice and flat surface.
I used water but since I’m using an electric machine I used just a little bit, not enough so that created a white/pink paste that filled this little bubbles I was not aware of.
I might need to insist a little more with the torch to get rid of them.Anyway, I quickly tried sanding in water like you did and it seems to be working reat!
But my thinner sandpaper doesn’t last one minute in the water.
Thanks a lot for the tip! 🙂
