Can I do my projects outside in the garage since its not good to breath in? How long does the smell linger if I have to do it in my house she the other people in my home be worried? I know I should wear a mask and goggles but I’m more worried about the lingering smell and the other people in my home.

Hi Danielle,

Whenever I use polyester resin, I always work with it in my garage. The smell lingers for about 12 hours or so.

Once your resin is soft-cured, you can always move it inside, then raise your garage door to air it out.
