Making a mold from a bar of soap

      Hello =)

      How do I go about making a mold from a detailed bar of soap. I am in love with the design of this soap and want to mold it so I can make more soaps just like this one. Any suggestions???

      Karen,

      You can easily make a mold from a bar of soap by using silicone.  You can try the silicone mold putty (especially if it is a small piece of soap).  A video on how to do that is here:

      If it is a larger piece of soap, you may want to try mixing your own silicone and pouring into a mold.  This video from Alumilite (we carry their silicone mold making products) shows you a bit on how to make a silicone mold:
