This question comes though email by Dell:

Would it be possible to make a belt buckle of resin?  For instance, using a large rose mold and putting hardware of some sort in the back after the resin has been poured.  Would the resin hold up to average wear and tear?

      Hi Dell,

Yes, you can make a resin belt buckle. We have a mold specifically for that purpose: https://resinobsession.com/ItemPage/5302/Belt-Buckle-Oval-Mold-759.htmlI would suggest either using the Resin Obsession super clear resin:https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/products/resin-obsession-super-clear-resin-6-oz-kit-jewelry-quality-resin

Thank you for your info.  I dont see on the mold how to put a bar across the back.  Is there something to imbed or glue on after the resin sets?

We dont have a mold for the hardware or have it as a purchase option.  I would suggest doing a search for belt buckle hardware or belt buckle findings to find the hardware for the back.  I would then use a little bit of mixed up resin to secure the hardware to the back of your resin casting.

The hardware can be found by searching craft sites for "Oval Belt Buckle Blanks"
