GuestSorry if this is an easy fix and a super newbie mistake.
I got a small kit for my daughter for Christmas. I made sure to get the proper catalysts for the resin I purchased as well. Read the directions repeatedly.
Pour looked great with little to no bubbles. Wasn’t worried about those at this point. When hardened, I popped out my test pour. Just make a small round disk (like a coaster shape). The bottom and center were very clear and smooth but the top and sides were very wavy and full of small waves. Any ideas? -

GuestIt sounds like you’re off to a great start with your resin project! The wavy texture on the top and sides could be due to a few factors, such as temperature fluctuations or the pouring technique. I remember when I first started experimenting with similar materials; it took a bit of trial and error to get the results I wanted. Interestingly, I recently took an iq test free, which reminded me how important it is to approach new challenges with patience and a willingness to learn. Keep experimenting, and you’ll definitely improve!
