This question comes from Daisy:

I have a silicone mal and in the beginning my resin piece was shinning. Now it isnt anymore. Must i wash my mal whit something or is that normal after a wile.
My next question is how i can my flowers or objects can fix in the middle of my mal. They float always to the top.
And i Like to have a few tips to create a beautiful end Side of my item.

Hi Daisy,

Are you using a lot of mold release? It might be that it’s leaving a residue. I would try washing the mold with a good detergent and allowing to dry. (Shake the water out first to minimize water spots.) If that doesn’t work, you can try a little rubbing alcohol to remove the residue.
