I had a handmade open bezel that I filled with 2 part epoxy with Duck brand Clear tape as the back. My resin cured fine- but I can not get the tape goo off- I have sanded, Scraped, tried Alcohol, a textured grease hand cleanser & vegetable oil & still it is gooey! I cant think of anything else to try 🙁

Have you tried Goo-gone? You can find it at home improvement stores.

I tried Krud Kutter (that my husband had) It is supposed to be less toxic. That did not work. Last night I tried Acetone that someone suggested- that did seem to work. The sticky is gone finally. But the resin is funky looking- Im not sure if everything I tried dulled it- because it is only in areas- some is still clear. I may try to topcoat as an experiment. Thank you Katherine
