Hi! I have a 3×3 inch apple mold that should create a smooth surface when the resin hardens, but every time I use it, the outside of the apple has small bubbles and cracks all over it. Is there a way to avoid these reactions? Is there a specific type of resin that I should use for a deep mold? I do not get this issue with a smaller mold that is about 2×3 inches using the same resin.

I have attached a picture of the unmolded piece through my google photos so hopefully, it will come through.

It sounds like your resin is overheating. What resin are you using?
