My daughter made me a paper mache’ bowl. I want to preserve it so the paper doesn’t fall apart over time. Can I do it with resin? If so how?

Hi Annie,

I haven’t done this myself, but here’s how I would go about it.

1. Coat the bowl with a couple of layers of Ultra Seal decoupage glue: https://shop.resinobsession.com/products/ultra-seal-sealant-and-glue
2. Let dry for at least 2 to 3 days. A week if you live in a humid area.
3. Use a foam brush to apply mixed Resin Obsession crystal doming resin in a light layer over the bowl: https://shop.resinobsession.com/collections/resin/products/resin-obsession-crystal-doming-epoxy-resin-jewelry-grade
