I’ve noticed lately that no one really brings up privacy in crypto anymore. It’s like everyone just quietly accepted KYC as part of the deal. But for me, one of the core reasons I got into crypto was freedom, and part of that means not handing over my ID every time I want to swap coins. Anyone else still care about this?

Totally feel you. I used to be okay with KYC until I realized how much personal data I’ve scattered across random platforms. And for what? A simple ETH-to-BTC swap shouldn’t require the same paperwork as opening a bank account. I’m now way more careful — small, private swaps feel like the way crypto was meant to work.

Same here. I’ve gone back to using platforms that still value privacy, like canadian cryptocurrency exchange
It’s one of the few left where you can exchange coins anonymously — no sign-up, no KYC, and the process is smooth. Just pick your coins, send, and receive.

I’ve done a few swaps there recently, and each time it worked flawlessly. Feels good not needing to “verify my identity” just to use my own crypto. Especially in Canada, it’s rare to find an option that’s still simple and secure.

This sounds exactly like what I’ve been missing. Everything’s become so over-complicated lately. Glad to know there are still options out there that haven’t sold out to bureaucracy.

Right? Crypto used to feel more like freedom, now it’s paperwork with extra steps. Glad to see I’m not the only one who still values some good old-fashioned anonymity.
