So my wife did our kitchen table in a resin coating. After about 5 days we sat down had sinner and a warm bowl was places on the table (by me) and it did in fact leave a slight ring on the table. It’s not too glaring but it’s definitely noticeable. My question is that since this is still fairly fresh resin can it be fixed with a heat gun or a torch or some other means?

      Thanks

      Hi EJ,

How cool that you took on the project of applying resin to a table! I’m afraid though, as you found out, they don’t tend to take heat well once cured.

At this point, the best way to fix this is to apply another layer of resin.
