Hello, hopefully someone might be able to offer me some advice. I received an item recently that is unfortunately dangerously damaged. It’s a small water scene in a jar, the glass is cracked all the way around in more than one place. Is it possible to remove the glass and salvage the resin inside? If not I’ll have to throw the whole thing away but the little scene is very cute and I’d so much like to save it somehow…

Ugh. I’m afraid I don’t have any good options for you. Since you want to salvage the resin, you could try taking a hammer to the glass and breaking it off in chunks. If you are lucky, it will break away from the resin. (Be sure to be safe when you do this — wear safety goggles and do it in an area where the glass can be collected.)
